FAQ
What is a Big Bang?
A Big Bang is a type of challenge involving fics and accompanying artwork. It encourages collaboration between artists and writers in fandoms. Writers and artists will sign up to take part and will be paired to work on a story together: one writing, the other creating a piece of art for it. You can also take part in the Big Bang as a beta reader or a pinch-hitter. Beta readers read over the work for writers, checking for spelling and grammar mistakes, as well as supporting with any other aspects of the story. Pinch-hitters (writers/artists) are participants who step in last minute for someone who can no longer take part - therefore, whilst they are not always required to create work, they might have shorter deadlines if necessary.
The Kirishima Big Bang specifically will focus on Kirishima Eijirou from the Boku No Hero Academia manga/anime. The story/art should revolve around Kirishima, but all the other aspects are up to you: shipping is allowed, but Kirishima should be the focus. The minimum word count for writers is 5,000 words.
How will you contact me?
Most of our communications will be done through Discord. All participants will also receive email updates where there is action necessary.
Is this event SFW?
This event is both SFW and NSFW. Contributors will be able to create both, but if you are under 18 you will not be allowed to collaborate on or create a NSFW piece. You will also be required to list any trigger warnings your work may contain.
Can I participate if I already have a partner?
Yes, of course you can! Make sure both yourself and your partner fill out an application form and state that’s the case on it. You will still have to submit a summary for our record, but you won’t be matched with anyone unless you’re like a beta reader to be assigned.

Mod Kara
Kara is the Head Mod for this event and can't wait to see all the amazing Kirishima content it will produce! She is also a Mod for the Kaminari Big Bang and the Ashido Big Bang. Relatively new to the fandom, she is always looking for more events to get involved with! Kara is also a writer and beta for the TodoDeku Big Bang, Izuku Big Bang and Todoroki Big Bang. She has in the past contributed towards events in the Attack on Titan fandom.
Mod Rhys
Rhys is a Mod for this event and is psyched for all the new Kiri Content! They are also a Mod for the TodoBowl Bang, Izuku Big Bang, Ashido Big Bang, Kaminari Big Bang and Uraraka Big Bang. Rhys is also a writer and beta for the TodoDeku Big Bang, Izuku Big Bang, and Todoroki Big Bang, as well as a beta for the Shinsou Big Bang.
Mod Ash
Ash is a Mod for the Kirishima Big Bang and is excited to work with everyone! This is the first time she’s been a Mod, but has worked on original writing events before. She has been a writer on the Backup Squad Bang, and is writing for the Wayfinder Big Bang, Todoroki Big Bang, Shinsou Big Bang, Izuku Big Bang, Whump Big Bang and Ashido Big Bang.
Mod Neon
Neon is a Mod for this event and can’t wait to meet fellow Kirishima fans! They are also a Mod and artist for the TodoDeku Big Bang. Every now and then they also write for the TodoDeku Big Bang as well. They haven’t signed up for many events in the fandom yet, but are slowly branching out and joining different bangs for ships and characters. They are also currently working on starting a bang for a different fandom.
Rules
All stories and art must be new, created for this specific event. While you can continue working on something you have already started, it should not be published before the posting time for this event. Your piece should be kept a secret until it is posted.
Plagiarism will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate removal from the event.
You must join the Discord channel, as that is where most communication will be done.
The minimum word count for writers will be confirmed after the interest check has closed.
Artists will be required to complete one piece of art, the extent of which will be confirmed after the interest check.
If you are signing up as a writer, you can choose if you’d like a beta reader assigned to you. If you are signing up as a beta reader, you can choose whether you’d like to be assigned to someone based on your interests/trigger warnings, or whether you’d like to reach out to writers yourself.
